Am I freaking out unnecessarily?
We are having about 15 people over tomorrow. And the SO is totally lackadaisical about it, wanting to get up, grocery shop, then exercise, followed by cleaning the house. I think there isn't enough time.
But that's not what I'm freaked out about.
His friend is thawing out the tur-duck-en... on his back porch. It's... 40 outside now, and will be down to 34 deg F at 6 am. So maybe we won't get poisoned, but I was always taught that you couldn't just leave stuff out to thaw, or it would do so unevenly, and you'd get sick.
It's probably cold enough out there... what do you think?

So true!
And look at all our kids now, sitting inside, playing video games, worried about the "boogeyman" trying to get them if they venture outside without strict supervision...
No wonder we are a mistrusting, skittish people.
