Thank God my cat isn't my child...
Because if he was, I'd have a heroin addict (or crackhead) on my hands.
I just got them (Craziest Cat {aka Boyo} and Girlie) this catnip "butterfly ball", a small sphere (about the size of a large cherry) where you put 'nip in the center, and then twist the 2 halves together. They each have a wide ring encirclng them, and when closed, they are at 90 deg angles to each other. So supposedly, the cats can have "hours of safe fun" with them, knocking them about and playing with them.
Except:
1) The screw on is really a 1/4 turn friction lock, which won't hold up to heavy rubbing/playing
2) They don't say how much nip to put in, so I filled it 1/2 way up.
3) Two crazy cats were rubbing on it, and it popped open, therefore, it should close better. It was on clearance, though, and maybe that's why.
4) When Craziest Cat accidently broke it open, it scattered all hardwood floors, but mostly on the area rug.
5) Doofusowner slave didn't notice for a few seconds, so Craziest Cat did whole body rubs in it, spreading it around.
6) As Doofusowner slave ran to get damp paper towels to wipe it up, Craziest Cat spread it even more around in the rug.
7) Now Craziest Cat is having orgasmic rolls on my rug, he's totally hyped up oncrack 'nip, and I'm afraid to try to more him to clean better (if that's possible), since I think he might shiv me for touching his stash.
