Here's a question...
If you had the chance to go see Gale Harold at 2 DVD signings, but your boss was mad about you going and you were probably jeopardizing your job, would you still go?
What if that same boss (who does the same job you do) is only working 2 hours (yes, hours) this week? And usually works 3 1/2 - 4 days a week? And short shifts on those days? Yet gets upset when you want to take 2 days off without pay? And he could work those hours easily, but refuses to?
Did I mention there are no benefits? Just salary & bonus (which has been real good lately, but he wants to change that since he's been having to pay me - it was fine when he didn't have to pay). Not to mention, I make a bit less than the standard daily wage for my work. But it is a 5 day a week job... and I do have some responsibilities.... although I could live without a job or with a part-time job for a while.
What if you love the work you do, and the people you work with, but don't get along morally or ethically with the boss? So this isn't going to be a life-long job, anyway. And there is other stuff out there, just maybe further afield.
I just hate change. Even when it needs to be done.
