I went over to a friend's house tonight, and had leftovers from Thanksgiving. I hadn't eaten much, and made a big plate, and felt so stuffed I thought I'd pop. But I had a little banana pudding & a small slice of sweet potato pie, because I never have those things, and wanted to try it.

After I was done eating, I felt like I had to lay down. Now, this is nothing new for me after a big meal. In fact, I didn't even realize I do this much, until yesterday, after dinner, my sister-in-law commented to her husband that "she knew I would lay down on the floor after dinner, because that's what I do." Now, realize, before she moved up here, I only saw her in group settings, where chair space was at a premium, so I often just laid back on the floor (where I was probably sitting to begin with).

When I got up, I burped - and it seemed weird. Almost like that vomit burp taste... not the "I just ate a big meal" burp taste. Hm...

So we came home, the hubby laid down to sleep (he's going out to the casino's with a friend tonight), and I made a cup of tea to wake up and sat down at the computer. Now, I don't drink tea much, and the tea I had was organic tea from like 3 years ago (dry leaves, so no problem, right?) I had 2 different cups, but started to feel that little "ants in the hair" feeling from the caffeine, so I poured half of the second cup out.

And now I still feel kind of burpy, kind of off-balance. I don't know if something was spoiled that I ate (God, I hope not, 7 other people ate too, but not all the same stuff), or if I'm just getting old and ate too much (because I never get indigestion), or if maybe the tea was bad? But I felt bad before I drank it.

So I've taken 2 Maalox tablets, and hope that will settle things down. Because it's been 4 hours now, and I don't feel any better.

ETA: Feeling a little better now, but running a small temp. Hm. Maybe it IS a bug.
