I think I have to buy a new phone
Feb. 20th, 2008 12:05 pmMy Treo 680 is only a year old, but it has been nothing but problems. I had it replaced twice, the first time just 4 months after I got it. And each replaced one had the same problem. And now? It is shutting off, restarting itself whenever I try to check my e-mail, or when I sync it. It syncs, but then? Restarts.
But I'm pretty wedded to the Palm platform, because I have a ton of programs for the phone, and because it's my 6th Palm product, and my 2nd Palm smartphone. But if I have problems with the next one? I'm going to have to rethink my loyalty, and strike off in a new direction.
So I'm thinking of getting a Centro, and if I do, the two choices for carriers are AT&T & Sprint. Or if I get a 755p, I have the choices of Sprint, Verizon, or Alltel. And I didn't even hear of Alltel until recently...
