A Bit About the Secret Santa Fics...

I love a few, like most, and haven't found one I really dislike yet. However, there were a few things in "Maybe It Was..." that bothered me - being somewhat of a car nut. Just a little Corvette snarking going on... (beware, spoilers for the story here)

My Hunter Fic

Obviously, I'm off work today, because I'm reading & posting like mad. However, for those few people who've read my snippet of Hunter fic, I thought I'd give an update.

Real Life has been crazy, and Christmas is fast approaching. I'm going on a cruise in - crap! - 3 days, and realize that I don't have the right clothes for it. Not that I'm a clothes horse like Brian, but I kind of.... fluctuate... in size, and my summer clothes are not fitting now (damn those Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas treats!). So I've got a lot to do to get ready for the trip and Christmas.

I plan on taking my laptop with me on the trip, and hopefully will have time to write. I'll review the rest of the tapes for Hunter canon either before or after the cruise, and change the fic accordingly. I hope to have something out by the first or second week of January... but I'm a born procrastinator, and reading other peoples fic has made me feel a bit unworthy to write.

Time to hit the stores - anyone know where to find summer clothes at Christmas?

Someone shoot me now... or give me the links to some good shmoopy B/J fic.

Just got back from shopping - and discovered there is nowhere to find clothes for summer in my size. So I had to settle for 2 denim skirts... not what I was looking for.

And the parking! Horrible! It took me 20 minutes inside the parking lot to find a place. And it was way, way too crowded for me. I swear, I felt suicidal in there... or homicidal, but luckily no one got in my way.

I've been in denial about Christmas, and today was the first time I've done any shopping. Next year, all internet is all I can say. Forget the crowds...

Now, off to try to find some good fic to take my mind off today... and maybe a stiff drink would help...
