[livejournal.com profile] pixystardust has posted that Darryl Armstrong, who played "Tweaked Tommy" in QaF has killed himself.

He was the boy in the sling at Sap's party, and the one Justin talked to before he got all wasted.

Rest in Peace, Darryl.

Statement Announcing Death of Actor Darryl Armstrong
Released Early Sunday Morning

TORONTO -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 01/30/2005 -- It is with great sadness that we report that early Saturday morning, Halifax born, Toronto-based actor Darryl Armstrong (23) allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a bridge on Mount Pleasant Rd. in Toronto. He was pronounced dead on arrival. Peel Regional Police continues its investigation.

It is with great sorrow that we extend our condolences and our deep-felt sympathy to his entire family. He will be missed not only by his friends and co-workers but also by the cast and crew of Showcase's "Queer as Folk" and "Degrassi Junior High."

Mr. Armstrong believed that acting was a noble calling. His belief in the ability to bring humour and emotion across the small screen and his passion for his job and the people around him was unwavering.

He was one of the brightest emerging stars on television and we will all miss him dearly.

ETA: If anyone has a pic of him you can post here, please do. My laptop is down, and it's the only computer with image capture hardware on it, or I'd do it myself.

So, here I sit at the computer, being sick. And oh, so attractive.

I have my hair pulled back with a spiral headband (like I used to wear it all the time when it was all-one-length-long, about 3 years ago - eek!) and wet from the shower, as I can't be bothered with mundane things like cleaning up or drying my hair when I'm sick (and yes, it is 5:45 pm here).

I didn't want to wear my robe, as I'd been in it all day with my stinky unwashed self. So I grabbed the only nighty I had clean out of the closet - one my mother sent to me about 4 years ago, and that definitely looks like her. Green & white narrow vertical stripe, 3/4 length overall with shirt-tail hem & 3/4 length cuffed sleeves, complete with shirring on the front of the shoulders and upper chest (to prevent nipple embarrasment), a small button placket, and a little Peter Pan collar with flowers embroidered on it.

In short... I look like a depressed middle-aged housefrau.

Well, there's at least some truth in the above statements... LOL

(at least I haven't lost my sense of humor)

... they accidentally put two CApital's together?

... they forget that theres an apostrophe in something like there's?

... they type the word "form" for "from", or "teh" for "the"?

... or you forget to type capitals, for words like "i", or use "a" instead of "an"?

I hate that I can't edit comments. So I tend to delete, and repost. Which is fine, unless you don't catch it for a while.

Any other personal peeves in posting?
