Oh I agree also. I think the fact that life is truly giving him the biggest lesson...that it can be taken away in the blink of an eye...Brian wants to rethink his life plan. He has seen before that people you care about can be taken away with the swing of a bat...No more can he just stand aside and not make that move to let Justin know just what he means to him. The first time they barely knew each other, I mean they had some fun times but hell since then look what all has happened with them, they have been down, up, through more crap and came out on top...How could he possibly not let him know that he loves him.
I personally have wanted him to say it for some time, I am very glad he did, and I don't see it as a character assassination at all. I could care less whether they get married, with the ceremony and all that...But the seriousness of a relationship and the ILY is what I have wanted.
