For anyone who was worried about me - the pain levels are manageable today, and I'm sure I'm on the road to recovery. I look forward to getting a little better each day.
Yeah, Toradol - but it's messing with my stomach. I had some problem with this before in Feb (just with food), and they gave me a med for GERD, which worked. But that's one of the main contributing factors to my anemia - it blocked my bodies ability to process iron, so I'm at 1/2 the blood cell volume I should be. And before surgery, my hematocrit had only gone up to 25 (from 24).
The pain is less, now, though, so I'm going to try to make it on the Perocet alone tonight. We'll see how I do. It's 2:45 am now... let's hope I can sleep through until 8 am at least. I've only been sleeping in 2-4 hour stretches, and none at all the first night after surgery.
I'm so glad you're feeling better. I'm working on burning you some DVD's right now--they may arrive after you're better but at least you'll still have fun stuff to watch!

And everything isn't working as well as I'd hoped.
So I look forward to a surprise package! Thanks so much!
