1. of course it wasn't boring. Its nice to read about you. I like knowing people. I find it actually more interesting than fan related things. Although I like those too.
2. I would totally go for it. Its scary as hell but what have you got to loose? money is just energy. It can be replaced. You have a wonderful degree and I'm sure you can always find something else if neccessary but wouldn't it be absolutely worth it if it did work out? all that hard work would totally be worth the effort to be your own boss.
So I'd go for it. But then I'm not the one with the money so you know... its up to you. But man. It would be awesome.
