In case anyone is checking my LJ out to see if I'm a real person or a troll (since I'm friending a lot of new people who write wonderful Supernatural or J2 fanfic), I just wanted to say...

I'm real!!!

And I rarely post, because SUPERNATURAL HAS EATEN MY BRAIN!!! Like the prettiest zombie ever...

If anyone wants to recommend a good fanfic, podfic, vid, etc, I'd be more than happy to have it!

Yay for new fandoms! :)

My friend tebtosca is a really good writer, and her stories and recaps introduced me to SPN when I wasn't even watching the show! I started reading the fic and then had to start watching the series. LOL

I'm more partial to J2 stuff, since I don't really know the Sam/Dean backstory, but she writes both, in addition to other pairings on the show, and, more importantly, she recommends a TON of fic. If you check out her "fic" and "fic rec" tags on LJ you will see a bunch (not sure exactly what you like, so I'll let you explore and find what turns your crank).

I am *so* glad that you kept after me until I started watching! It has been a wonderful ride so far, and I feel like I've only dipped my toes (or, maybe gotten up to my knees) in the Great Ocean that is Supernatural. It's like a beautiful oasis that I can wander around in forever, always finding new and interesting things....

And obviously, it makes me sappy.

But happy!

I will definitely go look there! I know I've heard (or read) tebtosca's fic, and master fic lists are always welcome! It's like I'm used to swimming in ponds, and now Supernatural is a great ocean... thank you for helping me find the tastiest treats!

I actually started out as a J2 girl, because I was so far behind in the story arcs and I didn't want to get spoiled... now, I'm pretty much all good!

Although after meeting them, it was hard to read J2 for a while... then I just started thinking of it as them acting characters, and it slowly became good again...
