There is a lot of hubbub on the lists about some spoilers posted by someone called SZ. While I'm sure most of you have read them, they are listed under the cut.
Posted by SZ at QAFTalk :
1. First off is not a happy spoiler and one that nobody will like.
VIC DIES in mid season. Understandably this has an effect
on "everyone" even B/J, namely because of Brian's feelings of
responsibility towards Michael.
2. As part of the whole vigilante story Justin befriends this kid
Cody, who teaches him how to fight/defend himself with Boxing moves.
At some point J also gives the fellow a handjob ala Chris Hobbes.
3. The vigilante story arc brings to a head Justin's unresolved
issues from the bashing. A lot of resurfacing anger and helplessness
causes him to lash out in some unpredictable ways. This is
especially true when it comes to Brian, who will find himself
somewhat on the receiving end of some of Justin's aggression. Brian
will increasingly begin to realize that Justin is indeed not over
the trauma of the bashing...........
4. 99% sure that Mel and Lindsay's baby won't be born this
season.........
It would be just my luck if this happened, because I got to meet Jack Wetherall in November and he was a sweetheart! The nicest people were Hal, Jack & Scott. Sharon was also nice, but I didn't have very much time with her. Bobby seemed a bit tense and distracted - my friend said his heart was racing a mile a minute, but I didn't notice that.
I would be very sad to see Jack go. He is a good, positive role model for living with the disease. As someone who lost a brother Nov. 27, 2000 to it, we all need to see people living with it, not just surviving. My brother had 12 years with it, and went through many stages of acceptance. He even sold his life insurance for money to live on, because he expected to die quickly. He had several ups & downs with his health, but always bounced back. He survived a long time, thanks to the protease inhibitors and various experimental treatments. However, he got into a bad relationship, got depressed, stopped taking them, then started again. Unfortunately, they didn't work the 2nd time (a common occurance, I've heard). In the end, he had to go on disability, and get a job at Home Depot to make ends meet. I wish he could have just enjoyed the time he had left, instead of worrying about how he was going to support himself. I don't know where I was going with this... I think I'll stop now. Sorry for going on & on...
And on a personal note, I'm dying trying to type with 9 fingers. My left little finger is in a splint, which is driving me crazy. It didn't ever hurt, and I could use it, but I tore the lateral nerve (note to self - don't wrestle with your hubby after a few drinks), and if I use it, it will get worse. The numbness & electric shocks are annoying, but not so much as the damn splint. It really would be better if it hurt - than the splint would seem to serve a purpose, rather than just getting in my way.
Oh, well, I've blathered on enough. Later!
