sgornyI'm somewhere in that murky dim twilight of night, where you sit, hunched over your keyboard, the only light that of the monitor shading your face in tones of blue...
Night into day, day into night. Why is it that I feel time is endless here? That I could sit forever, fingers searching out all that is on the web, tapping into untold resources, old favorites, and checking out the lives of friends?
It's something about this late evening time, when the only sound is the heater kicking on and off, the quiet snores of the SO, which liberates me into Cyberland. I feel spread as thin as ether, yet still connected. Time stretches out, like taffy or gum chewed long and hard, then pulled from the mouth into thinner and thinner strands, always risking destruction, yet maintaining it's cohesion and becoming finer and finer, the end always hovering somewhere just beyond my vision...
