PayPal warning!

I just received a faked e-mail, purportedly from PayPal, saying that $175 had been successfully charged to my account for an item (unnamed). I was given a tracking number, and told to click on the link to track the item.
Instead, I checked by PayPal acct, and found that no such charge had gone through. I hate to think what would have happened if I'd have clicked the link.
I forwarded it on to PayPal's fraud department.
This has happened to me before, with PayPal, Yahoo, and eBay. If you ever get anything like this, do not click on any link (I'm sure you all know that already). Go to the site where you are registered, and check there for any problems. If none come up, you know it's a hoax, probably to try to get your information.
Hope this helps someone out there - although I'm sure you all already knew this info!
