Went to play poker last night.

It had been a long week. And I had some great Stone Ruination IPA to drink.

Big 22 oz bottles of the good, high octane stuff.

Drank one, then another. Then a third, maybe... then they started doing whiskey shots... had a few...

Woke up this morning (at home, in bed), no memory of the end of the poker game, clothes wadded up on the floor, handmade necklace that I'd worn for the first time broken and dangling off my neck, only about 1/2 of the parts found...

Purse here... cell phone, iPod mini, wallet, Grandma's ring, handmade bracelet all accounted for.

Christ! Will I ever learn not to mix drinks? Or drink so much?

Thank god I don't really get hangovers, although the head isn't too happy right now, kind of achey. Gonna take something for that, and sleep for a while more.

I'll look for the rest of my necklace later.

Whoa. Yeah, no mixed drinks.

I don't get hung over, either. Just dehydrated and vaguely icky feeling, but not the way that most other people seem to feel hideous.

I'm the same way. I almost wish I got more hung over - it might be a deterrant, more than the humiliation of acting stupid and not remembering it is.
