First, the Bad News:
The pathology results came back - positive for cancer.
Then, the Good News:
It was small, localized, and removed with clear margins through surgery.
It's been an up and down (or down & up) kind of day.

Date: 2005-08-12 04:04 am (UTC)In the last year, both my parents have had cancer surgery (breast for mos-mom, colon for mos-dad). In both cases the cancer was detected rather early, and we're grateful for that.
*hugs you again*

Date: 2005-08-12 01:29 pm (UTC)First of all, I can't believe you have the presence of mind to figure out colour-masking (or whatever you call it) while processing (or whatever you call it).
Second of all, aaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Third of all, *meow*. What the hell can you say? I don't know if it's relief that it's out, or just more shock.
Fourth of all, *fiercely sending ferociously concerned and protective fierceness down the line*. It's a superpower; what can I say? I'd rather I could teletransport flowers and chicken soup, but I wasn't consulted in the matter.
