Bad News & Good News...

First, the Bad News:

The pathology results came back - positive for cancer.

Then, the Good News:

It was small, localized, and removed with clear margins through surgery.

It's been an up and down (or down & up) kind of day.

I know how tough that situation can be . . . for some encouragment, my mother was in the same position a while ago. Now 5 years later she is still healthy as a horse, and they have told her she has less chances of a reoccurance than an average person has of getting it a first time.

Just wanted to echo this. Same thing with my mom, two years ago. She's all cleared and healthy. Same thing you have to look forward too ::hugs::
