Vacation!!!

OMG, I just booked an anniversary trip... on the spur of the moment. I mean, I was scanning where I could go on my Frequent Flyer miles on Alaska Air, checking out Chicago, Boston, New York, DC (since there wasn't really enough time for Mexico, or Hawaii).

And I just ended up booking a trip for two to Washington DC! It cost me 60K miles, and $10. Not bad, for a flight that would have cost each person $1771 (or $1542 for two), bringing the savings to $1532.

Which is more than enough for even a basic nice hotel room for 3 nights.

*is excited*

Going out to dinner now, will try to find a hotel when we get back...

Yay! That sounds so exciting! DC is really cool, I only got to drive through there, but I really want to go back sometime (we live much closer then you, we drove there the last time and I think it was about 8 hours or so, but I could be remembering that wrong).
