Sorry to hear about your fish honey, I wish I knew more - I recommend you visit your local aquatic pets store and ask them about it. I believe there is something you can add to the water as a treatment for this...
I think there might be a medicine that you can buy at pet stores (this is how we used to deal with sick fish.) It was so long ago I don't remember if it works, though. Good luck!
