Wake DVD question

sgornyI got my DVD directly from Eschelon Entertainment. And when I went to watch it... I noticed that it was a DVD-R with a label stuck on. I kind of expected one of those silver DVD's with the "painted on" label, not a purple burned DVD with a paper-type label.
But it came directly from them. And no encrypting, or anything.
What has everyone else's experience been?
