sgornyI ended up in Olympia tonight, trying to retrieve the S.O.'s car, as his ride-share partner's spouse had a ruptured appendix & is in the hospital (with his gut open for 5 days to prevent sepsis), do he let her take our car.
Stopped in a near-by bar to await his return (he wanted to see if everything was going all right), and the only place to sit looked like a bar, but was really the "pull-tab" bar (a type of gambling). When it started to fill up, I decided to play $20 so I could keep my seat, and told the girl to get whatever she thought was best. She pulled 40 50-cent tabs, all from the same bin, because she said it was time for someone to hit the big one ($400).
That someone was me!!!
