Music clipping software

sgornyI can clip DVD's. I can copy DVD's. I can do almost anything with video. But that doesn't help me right now.
I need to clips mp3's for a website, so that the entire thing isn't there to be stolen, just a teaser.
Anyone know a program to do it? I talked to one website designer, who said there were only a few very complicated programs to do it out there commercially.
Any help, anyone? Please?
