sgornyToday is starting off great! Managed to leave earlier for work, so I only was 5 minutes late (good for me), got here and they had signs up all over for my birthday, along with an ice-cream cone shaped Happy Birthday balloon, a bouquet of flowers, and some doughnuts. I think we're going out to lunch to my favorite Chinese food place today (love me some special scallops!), and then I plan on going to the local wine bar for dinner tonight.
And somehow I screwed up my scheduling, so I doublebooked next weekend (was able to cancel one), but that freed up this Saturday - so I have the weekend off!!! Two whole days in a row!!! I'm so excited! The SO said too bad we didn't have advanced notice, so we could go do something... but I'd just like to stay at home and relax. I've got the urge to icon, and it will be nice to have some time to do it!
Ah, 2 days of sleeping in...
*rubs hands together excitedly*
