sgornyI was just reading someone's post, where they'd done a search on the name of an old acquaintance - and found out they'd been killed years earlier. And that made me think - I went to undergrad with a rather flamboyant guy, spending many nights in group study with him, closing down the libraries. A number of people actually thought we were a couple, because we were always seen together.
I always wondered where he ended up, because when I'd last heard he was in his final year at Cornell (in 1998). I hadn't really kept in touch with him since about 1995, and got his final message right before I graduated from UCB. I remember somehow thinking he'd moved to Canada, which surprised me, because he'd have to take boards there, too.
So I decided to Google him. And this is what I found.
My guess is that he wasn't allowed to graduate, and who knows what he's doing now.

Here's something good about another friend, who played the lottery. Lesson? Always do the Second Chance Drawing!
