For
50bookchallenge &
15000pages:
2.) The Brief History of the Dead, by Kevin Brockmeier, 252 pgs
Quite the extraordinary story, showing how many more you have met, more than you can believe. You could liken it to "It's A Wonderful Life," except it's much more fantastic.
So I have to read 1 book a week, or 41 pages per day (assuming an average 300 page book, mine have been a little short). But it's 3 days in, and I'm at 500 pages... way ahead!
