It is one of me years ago, which, in fact, is nothing like the "me" now.
It's interesting... no matter how old you are, the "view out" is always the same. If there were no mirrors, would you feel as old as you look? Since the perspective never changes, it's easy to think that the "view in" is similarly unchanged.
I have a friend, 15 years older than me, who (when discussing this very subject) told me, "You know, I'll be walking through the mall, and catch sight of this older woman, and think 'Wow, she should take better care of herself,' paying no real attention... and realize it's a mirror."
When the hell did that happen?
